Jake phoned in another update due to a bad internet connection.  He had another long day paddling but was happy to report his back is feeling better.  He's spending the night on Assateague Island across from the Maryland/Virginia border.

Another state behind you. NY city straight ahead, I'm guessing they have enough food to feed a homeless guy in a tiny boat. Paddle to the food & enjoy the sights along the way!

YAHOO! Wow! Jake you are just moving fast up the east coast...how wonderful. Your back wants you to rest a bit..hope you find a nice place to do that..though it seems you are just monstering up the coast...and it doesnt sound boring at all...hugs to you!
